I Love Celebration Cinema

  We have been going the Celebration Cinema on the South Side of Lansing for years now, and I love it! I think the Edgewood area gets a bad rap a lot of times. But there is a lot to do in that area for a fun night out with friends. It would be nice to see more people from all over Lansing frequenting the businesses on that side of town. There are some awesome restaurants like Finley’s, Hooters and the Texas Road house. Shaheen Chevrolet, one of the Best Car Dealerships in Lansing is right there. And of course, my favorite movie theater Celebration Cinema is the jewel that tops the crown.
 
We just went to Celebration the other day to see another one of Marvel’s masterpieces, the Black Panther. It was amazing by the way. In the movie he is like James Bond, Shaft and Iron Man all rolled up in one. The action sequences were Top Notch and the story telling was very compelling. The movie most likely will be out of the theaters by the time you read this but I highly recommend it! Ok, back the Celebration.
 
They recently upgraded the seats which is great; the old ones were pretty uncomfortable. Nothing is worse than sitting through a two hour movie and having to shift every 3 minutes because the seat sucks. The new ones are really thick that allow more movement than the old ones.  The theaters are always clean when I arrive, and it doesn’t matter how busy they are. The staff does an amazing job.
 
Everyone is friendly and they have a ton of selection of candies, drinks and their popcorn is pretty good too. The only thing I don’t like is they only have Pepsi Products at the fountain beverage station. I absolutely can’t stand Pepsi. It would be nice if Both Pepsi and Coke were available, I know it would make a lot of people very happy.
 
So if you get a chance to make it down to the south side, check out Celebration. It is well worth it, my favorite restaurant for before the movies is Texas Road House, I highly recommend it….and you might see me there.
